Keeping up with the expectations and reputation of bringing the most powerful influencers on its annual global stage as the keynote speaker – EPTDA welcomed Nicklas Bergman and Ramon Vullings to 2019 stage.

Nicklas Bergman – Founder Funder Futurist – the #Swedish venture capitalist gave a powerful performance, and took the 300+ decision makers of industrial automation industry on a renewed trend hunt: the global battle for your living room, social scores, new #energy #policies, #technology touching human #bodies, #geneticengineering, #autonomousdriving and much more – and its impact on our #future and our personal responsibility to ensure we look at #sustainability as a holistic cause.

This global influencer hailed the “Malcolm Gladwell of technology!” leads business development in emerging markets, IT, instrumentation, nanotechnology, computing, new materials and new media art, currently through close to 15 direct and indirect investments.

While the IDEA-DJ, Ramon Vullings helped turn EGO to LEGO. Ramon advocated why remixing ideas across-sectors and industries is not only smart, but the only strategy to thrive in a highly complex, increasingly competitive and digitally connected world. He also urged all industry leaders to focus on creating the ultimate ecosystem inspired by nature, understand the difference between a Customer and a Client, and the superb art of stealing best practices from the market. He teaches us to master copying the HOW not WHAT. To aim for a JACKPOT not a ROULETTE.

At the eve of its Grand Finale Dinner on one of the most picturesque backdrop, EPTDA and its members jointly donated a sum of €17,070 for its annual charity to Pequeño Valiente (“the Little Brave One”), during their Grand Finale Dinner. Pequeño Valiente was founded in 2006 by a group of parents on the Canary Islands, whose children are affected by cancer. The charity aims to provide families and children who have the disease all the necessary support in the best possible conditions, trying to improve the quality of life throughout the disease. EPTDA would like to recognize and extend a special thanks to the following members, who each made a very significant contribution.
