Dear EPTDA’s Convention participants,
Dear EPTDA members,

We would like to inform you that in consultation with the Polish local authorities and other organizations, the EPTDA’s Board has made the decision to postpone our Annual Convention, scheduled for September 2021 to Spring 2022 (16 – 18 March).

The still existing concerns around COVID-19 and the different strategies of gradual withdrawal of pandemic prevention measures adopted by individual European countries will still make it impossible to organize the event according to common standards in September 2021.

It might well be the case that the traveling restrictions and social distancing measures will not be in place in September, but the organization and participation at the event of such scale is not possible with so many variables beyond our control.

When deciding to postpone the Convention, various alternative formats were considered, but we opted for a physical conference as a way of renewing the bonds that bring together the EPTDA community and that are difficult to achieve through various online tools and virtual conferences. Both the Board and Bureau strongly believe that the EPTDA Convention is more than merely an occasion for coming together. The Conventions have always served as excellent networking-building events. This mission is simply unachievable under conditions of social distancing.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Warsaw in 2022 (16-18 March 2022). Additional details will be shared in the coming weeks.

In the meantime thank you for your understanding.
