EPTDA's Trend Data Survey has opened again for the second report of the 2010 series.

2009 series completed successfully

The third series of the Trend Data Survey recorded a participation increase of 18%, making it a hit to complete the full 2009 series of trend reports.

The full 2009 series of Trend Data Survey was compiled in one single, summary report, now available on this website.

EPTDA and the Know Your Market Committee thank you for your participation. The more members take an active part in these surveys, the more accurate the reports will be to generate additional value for EPTDA members.

The results

The results of EPTDA's Trend Data Survey (TDS) are available free of charge to EPTDA Distributors and Manufacturers.

Survey and publication schedule - mark your calendar!

  • 1st report, TDS 2010-I: survey from 18 May to 2 June 2010; publication of results on 17 June 2010;
  • 2nd report, TDS 2010-II: survey from 1 to 15 September 2010: publication of results on 30 September 2010 at EPTDA's Annual Convention in Malta;
  • 3rd report, TDS 2010-III: survey from 11 to 25 January 2011; publication of results on 3 February 2011.
The Survey

EPTDA is well aware that its members continually look for reliable and accurate indications about the global PT market trends and its players' performances. Especially in times when our industries and global economy change rapidly and sometimes drastically, this becomes even more crucial. 

EPTDA and the Know Your Market Committee have designed an in-house, short and user-friendly EPTDA "Trend Data Survey", with a specific focus on the following pinnacle business activities:

  • Sales (% variation on previous year)
  • Gross margin (% variation on previous year)
  • Employment (trend on previous year)
  • Inventory (trend on previous year)

This analysis intends to streamline the information and to share the global output among the EPTDA Distributor and Manufacturer Members.

Launched in 2009, this initiative turned out to be a success. Generally supported and acclaimed by the EPTDA Members, the Trend Data Survey analyses provide valuable data on business performance in the abovementioned areas, including "country reports".

In order to make these reports even more accurate and useful for ALL its Members, EPTDA strongly invites you to participate again, or for the first time.

EPTDA's Trend Data survey is conducted fully and exclusively by EPTDA, every four months.
