Committed to care

2008 Programme

As a vital part of its ethical policy and activities, EPTDA strives to partner with charity organisations around the world, and make a contribution to support the well-being of society and the environment. All members are invited to donate discretely and voluntarily at any time of the year, or as part of their Annual Convention registration fees.

The European Power Transmission Distributors Association joins hands with international or local organizations to help and support projects that EPTDA deems to be within its scope of activities. This kind of partnerships is one of the concrete examples of EPTDA's commitment to responsible business.

This charity project was a real success in 2007 and EPTDA leaders are now selecting a local organization to support in Belgium, host country for its 10th anniversary convention. We warmly invite all of our members, associates and partners to take part in the future projects. Your support is needed.

EPTDA invites you to make a change for good!

In 2008, the Board of EPTDA decided to support a Belgium-based organization - the "Fondation Roi Baudoin" (King Baudouin Foundation). The focus this year is on special projects aimed at the welfare of autistic children.

The King Baudouin Foundation of Belgium, an independent and pluralistic foundation, pursues sustainable ways to bring about justice, democracy and respect for diversity. The activities of the King Baudouin Foundation are aimed at everyone who lives in Belgium but the Foundation also works at European and international levels. The mission of the King Baudouin Foundation is to help improve the living conditions for the population.

As the world recognises its first ever World Autism Awareness Day this year, EPTDA is contributing its 2008 charity efforts to special projects focusing on the autistic children supported by the King Baudouin Foundation.

More information on the Foundation and its activities can be found at www.kbs-frb.be.

Please join us in making a difference and contributing as much as we can.

EPTDA and King Baudouin Foundation thank you in advance for your valuable contribution towards a better society.
