EPTDA at a glance!

The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) is a European trade organisation serving the mechanical power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry. Wherever the production facility, whatever the product, PT/MC products are an essential part of the manufacturing process, transmitting mechanical power and controlling motion.

Founded in May 1998, EPTDA's mission is to advance distribution and strengthen members to be successful, profitable and competitive in a changing market environment. The founding procedure and set-up of EPTDA was very much supported by the Power Transmission Distributors Association - PTDA. Both associations are formally affiliated.

EPTDA today is the leading association for the industrial distribution channel in Europe, setting the highest commercial, environmental, social and ethical standards. EPTDA takes great pride in its values which focus on being a premier community for qualified members through open dialogue and mutual respect; acting with integrity, honesty and fairness; and ensuring continuous growth and learning. EPTDA currently has a membership of nearly 200 leading companies across 23 countries worldwide representing close to 23 billion Euros in annual revenues. These companies have nearly 230,000 employees worldwide, including Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The EPTDA is constantly evolving to ensure its voice reaches out to the largest professional audience.

Over the past few years, the Association has been expanding its media network whilst strengthening the dialogue with selected press contacts in the PT/MC trade media across Europe and North America.

Unstinting in its efforts to promote its mission, values and industry standards, the EPTDA is bringing its top news in several languages – English, German, Italian, Spanish and French.
