Service is providing a new motor for growth in the manufacturing industry. Competition between products is fiercely competitive and at the same time price pressure is on the increase. Big money can be made through additional services and maintenance. But are companies prepared? What is their identity? Are they an equipment manufacturer that provides additional services or a primary service provider that takes care of all its customer’s worries? In mid-May Link Magazine organised a round-table discussion about this question of identity in Breukelen.
