The EMEA Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA), the leading organisation for the mechanical Power Transmission and Motion Control (PT/MC) industry in EMEA is present at two of the major European Industry Fairs: Drives & Controls in Birmingham, UK and IAMD Hannover 2018, in Germany.

Since 2003, EPTDA has sustained and fostered solid partnerships with leading industry events and trade fairs organizers to create competitive solutions securing cost-effective, optimum brand visibility. One of the key benefits of these strategic alliances is the exclusive exhibitor and visitor packages designed especially for EPTDA’s members.

One of the main purposes for EPTDA is to assure tangible and valuable benefits for its members. We are activating in a industry where the brand awareness combined with high quality products and services are two of the main engines for an organisation’s business development. Therefore, it was natural for EPTDA to be present at two of the major European Industry Fairs this spring – the Drives&Controls Fair in Birmingham, UK and the IAMD Hannover 2018, in Germany. The EPTDA Pavilion is designed to provide member companies with the opportunity to benefit from a strategic and very visible presence, while still maintaining their individual company identity”, said Hans Hanegreefs, EPTDA Executive Vice-President.

Following on from the successful presence at last years’ editions, EPTDA representatives have been with industry peers at the EPTDA Members Pavilion at the 2018 Drives & Controls Fair, on April 10-12 in Birmingham, UK. Drives & Controls 2018 was a unique face-to-face opportunity for today’s engineering professionals to learn about new strategies, evolving technologies, the latest products and services that fit their business needs to allow them to maintain optimum performance levels during competitive times.

The Drives & Controls Show has established itself as the leading UK event for motion engineering, power transmission and automation – the only exhibition dedicated to this vital sector of engineering and manufacturing, representing a unique face-to-face opportunity for this industry’s professionals to meet and learn about the latest trends.

IAMD Hannover 2018, the other major European Industry Fair where EPTDA is present, is taking place between 23rd – 27th April. Last year EPTDA’s presence at this leading industry fair was the biggest ever: 25 member companies attended the event and close to 250 professional gathered and exchanged the latest in the industry during the EPTDA/PTDA Welcome Reception.

Starting with this year, Deutsche Messe is merging the Motion, Drive and Automation Fair (MDA) and the Industrial Automation Fair in one single event: the Integrated Automation, Motion & Drives Events Worldwide (IAMD) Hannover. Consequently the event will now take place annually.

Through its active participation and presence with key pavilions at these shows, EPTDA represents the association’s objectives and portfolio globally, hence strengthening its members’ brand awareness and providing a solid business networking platform.
