2 Nov 2011 - EPTDA furthers membership growth in Eastern Europe, welcoming 8 new members to a total of 200 member companies
The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA), the leading pan-European organisation for the mechanical Power Transmission and Motion Control (PT/MC) industry, is pleased to announce it has welcomed eight new company members right before and after its Annual Convention in September 2011 in Budapest, as a result of a strong awareness-raising campaign. The EPTDA continues expanding, especially reinforcing its presence in Eastern Europe counting now seven active company members in the region and expecting more to join before the end of the year.
Mr. Hans Hanegreefs, EPTDA Executive Vice President, comments: “The EPTDA to date has grown to a solid platform of 200 quality-driven PT/MC companies. In total since January 2011, our constantly developing Association has welcomed 23 new member companies. We reached this level of 200 members after a number of first-timer distributor guests present at the EPTDA Budapest 2011 convention effectively became integral members of the EPTDA Family in the period following the event in Hungary. Our increasingly attractive value proposition with a growing offer of tangible membership benefits, combined with our high-profile network of PT/MC key-decision makers and newly launched initiatives like the EPTDA Academy for industry Business Executives and Young Potentials – in association with Nyenrode Business University in The Netherlands – makes the EPTDA, the professional platform to be and interact in the power transmission and motion control industry, for both distributors and manufacturers.” The EPTDA is happy to present its five new distributor members – David Harries & Co., United Kingdom; HL Group Oy, Finland; Juncor, Portugal; Marksman Industrial Ltd, United Kingdom; Polpack Sp.zoo., Poland; two new manufacturer members – Ramsey Product Corporation, USA; Rotor Clip, United Kingdom; and its latest addition in the associate membership category – SAFE AG, Germany.
