In accordance with the Association’s official by-laws, all member companies and applicants must meet the requirements of the relevant membership category.

The EPTDA membership is structured in three categories, based on specific criteria and profiles.


A qualifying EPTDA distributor is a firm, corporation or partnership whose primary business is the stocking and distribution of power transmission and/or motion control products to OEM and/or end-user markets, which provides value added services to its customers.


A qualifying EPTDA manufacturer member is a firm, corporation or partnership, which manufactures a Power Transmission/Motion Control, or related, product line.


The Associate Membership, being a firm, corporation or individual that creates directly added value to EPTDA and at least one of its members in the power transmission/motion control industry.
