In 2011, the Association officially appointed Alan Beaulieu EPTDA’s Economic Forecaster. One of the United States’ most informed economists, Alan Beaulieu is a principal of the Institute for Trend Research (ITR) where he serves as the President. Since 1990, he has been consulting with companies who have a domestic and global perspective on how to forecast, plan, and increase their profits based on business cycle trend analysis.
Many remember Alan Beaulieu from his astounding speech at the EPTDA Annual Convention in 2010 in Malta as one of the highlights of this leading PT/MC industry event. Alan impressed the audience with his global perspective on economy and business trends, but more particularly with his 96% accuracy economic forecasts on which companies can rely to improve performance and profits.
The EPTDA has partnered with Institute for Trends Research (ITR) to bring bimonthly economic update and outlook columns, as well as quarterly market forecasts to its members exclusively.
