EPTDA at WIN Eurasia Automation

EPTDA unlocking great market potential at the WIN Fair in Istanbul

EPTDA had an active presence this year at the WIN Automation Fair in Istanbul!

This initiative comes into line with the objective to broaden membership base in the EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa) region and to unlock great market potential for members in fast growing economies like Turkey. EPTDA representatives were delighted to get to know many Turkish companies during the fair being active in the power transmission and motion control industry.

WIN Eurasia Automation which is the most important event of the manufacturing industry in the Eurasian region gathers four flagship trade shows under one roof - Automation, Electrotech, Hydraulic & Pneumatic and Materials Handling. It enables exhibitors to present their products to a broad audience and profit through the synergy of the featured shows. In the future, EPTDA intends to provide its members with time and cost-effective facilities to exhibit at this leading fair under the umbrella of a dedicated EPTDA Member Pavilion.

“We were happy to meet a large number of our members at the fair. To name but a few - KTR, TraceParts, CPM SpA, SPX Hydraulics Technologies and SMC. This comes to show we have taken the right step coming to Istanbul, raising our brand awareness here and prospecting this broad market”, explains Hans Hanegreefs, EPTDA Executive Vice President.

“We will continue our efforts in getting more Turkish distributors on board in order to have this region better represented on our distribution forum and deepen the debate. It will also give our manufacturer members an opportunity to expand their market outreach in Turkey by choosing trust-worthy, well-respected distributors. EPTDA already has 9 Turkish distributors as members and one Turkish manufacturer member.”, Hanegreefs add.

EPTDA looks forward to participating in the 2015 edition of the WIN Fair, next time around together with some of its members interested to tap into this market, on a joint pavilion. Until then, EPTDA expects to host numerous PT/MC professionals at its “EPTDA Istanbul 2014” convention, on 24-26 September.
