Advisory Council
The Advisory Council was created in 2006 as the Past Leaders Group, on the initiative of the EPTDA Past Presidents in an effort to maintaining continuity in the Association, thanks to Past Leaders' experience and knowledge. In February 2008, on the occasion of EPTDA's strategic review, the importance of the role of such a group was highlighted. The EPTDA's structure therefore was reshuffled to include the 'Advisory Council' as an official body of the Association's governance system. The Advisory Council is composed of EPTDA past Presidents. The Immediate Past President serves as the Chair of the Advisory Council and acts as liaison with the Board. The role of the Advisory Council is to:
- Give guidance and support for the development of the Association
- Determine organisation strategy
